Box has part #1320009 W on the end has a chrome bar inside looks like it would go on the end of a hood or would be part of a grille or bumper. Any ideas on what it fits and where it goes?

hmmm, my girlfriend has 2 GT Hawks....and I feel left out, wheres my "R" model Daytona????

It's that piece of trim at the front edge of the hood, just above the grill, on 1957 sedans/wagons. The 'W' indicates chrome plate, also available in 'P'(primer) for '57-'58 Scotsman.

It also is used on '57 Packards. I believe it is a pretty expensive part- easy sell on ebay.

I suppose that depends on your definition of "expensive". The last one I bought on eBay wasn't more then maybe $75.00. Yes, it will be an easy sell, 'cuz I'm in need of another one...

Well this one "was" perfect, I guess someone dropped it sometime, the edge that would go along the fender is broken I have the piece. Wouldnt be seen with the hood closed. I will list it on ebay this week if anyone here wants it I will end the auction early. Its easier than trying to upload a bunch of pics. Thanks
