I think it was taken in by a towing company and now is being sold. It may have been towed off a street ot lot and never recovered or had a mechanics lien on it.

Bob,

Here's the deal. I will go ahead and win this car and drive to Jersey with another of Frank's Larks on my rollback. You can then bring your van and tow dolly down to pick it up and take a look at my new car! :D Besides, you already have enough projects in the works.

Got home, saw it was pulled, called the seller... he said he sold it this morning for $1900.

Just as well, I was really interested in it... like I don't have enough cars now [:I]

(I don't):D

Did you buy it, Gary (Guido)?

I've come to realize that I'm mostly interested in Larks... thanks for posting that link; I'll be looking for more! [:p]

This realization means that I would sell the Provincial if someone wants it (or trade for the right Lark!) I'd rather put my limited time into what I really want.

I know I am not that old, but I cannot remember seeing a flathead 6 cylinder Lark with power steering.

Is this rare or do I need to attend more International meets?

And $1900 seems like a good price, even with the bumper dent...

1960 Lark VI - finally turned 50k in August of 2006
