  • Emergency Brake Light

I have just obtained the Studebaker emergency brake light kit. However it is missing the small angle piece that mounts on the emergency brake handle that closes the switch when you release the brake.
Does anyone have this piece or can you give me the detail of one so that I might fabricate something similar.

I am not sure exactly how it is mounted on the emergency brake handle.

    thanks

I have a Hand Brake Signal Light kit that has not been used. It's AC 2046 for all 1950 models, per the box. If this is the kit you have, I can take a photo of the switch actuating bracket and post.

From the book "Studebaker's Finest" the part number for the "light, pakring Brake Warning is listed as AC-2352. The one I have appears to look like the one illustrated in the book. However, as little as Studebaker changed these types of parts, I bet it is is the same. I would apprecate a picture and maybe a couple of dimensions. You can post or eamil to me.

      Thanks

could you sketch of describe the wiring diagram. Most of my wire are loose and I understand it turns on by grounding.

The instructions say to connect the wire terminal to the accessory terminal of the ignigion switch. If you want, get me a fax number and I can fax the instructions.
