Red; I can't tell you the procedure, as I have not done an Avanti, most of us Studebaker Vendors at studebakervendors.com do sell the Avanti Turquoise spray paint which could be applied with an artist brush.
But running is a problem on any even slightly vertical surface because spray paint is thinned for spraying.

Thirteen years ago StudeRich said that most Studebaker vendors sell Avanti Turquoise spray paint. Does anyone know of a vendor that sells it now in aerosol cans?
