This is one neat collection. It has one of every 1957 American convertible made and every model of each. They also have most 1957 hardtops, 1957 pickups and misc race cars etc. I toured the collection several times when it was still in Tempe, AZ. The curator is a super guy. Bob Schmidt.

This sounds like an interesting show. Would Saturday be the best day in terms of the number of cars that show up?

Yes there are more cars on Saturday than Friday. Like Howard says come early and stay late.

Gary,

Thanks for the info.
Unfortunately I will probably only be able to make Friday afternoon and Saturday.
My wife is on a business trip that week and won't get home until late Thursday. She wants to go to the show and that certainly makes it more fun for me so we will probably drive out early Friday and return on Sunday.

What an interesting collection of Studes that showed up for your show!!! I can't remember the last time I saw so many '56 Hawks, '61 Hawks, and '65 Daytonas all in one place. And now I know where that custom '48 with the '50 nose ended up- any one else remember that car from Hot Rod way back when [?] [?] [?]
It used to have an Arizona plate on it that read "ISNT IT" (or something like that)

I've often thought that one day this 'museum' might like one (or more) of my 1957s~
or any of the other 1957s in the Family [?]
We only have like six or seven of them now... [:0] ;)

What [?] [?] [?] I don't know that one, sorry. But if it's a good enough comment to be made four times, it'll be good enough to explain what it means now.

Some of the trucks.
This is just a taste. My camera did not have near enough memory for this show. Next year, more memory and I take the Pentax! Wow!! Good cars and great folks.

Those are not my pictures.
Diane Crook from the Heart of America Chapter took the pictures on that link. I will post mine in a day or so.
