  • 54 Champion gone

Well, I sold the '54 Champion hardtop this week. I'd had it setting around here for 6 or 7 months and had planned to try and resurrect it with it's original 6 cyl drivetrain so I could run it on ebay. But I had a fella accept the price I quoted him for it as is and that was the easiest way to make some money off it, since I didn't have to do anything to it but vacuum out the rat turds and give it a bath.
The new owner's toying with the idea of putting the Champion 6 back in for awhile or just going with alternate power as is the final plan anyways.

I made a few bucks, brought the car out of obscurity and found it a home. I COULD HAVE kept it for myself and sold the 53 Coupe instead, but I just like the coupe better![^]
