I have a freind who is restoring a '57 Golden Hawk. He needs to know how to remove the roof hallo. I would think the head liner would have to come down.
Any help would be appreciated.

I assume the halo installation is the same for the 57GH and the 55 Speedster. On my 55 Speedster I had to remove the headliner, rear quarter windows and rear quarter window channels to gain access to the halo nuts.

Not sure which is which, but I thought the 55-56 Halo had nuts, later were push pins, but check the parts book.

The 56 with 57 Suppliment Service Manual states that he has to remove the rear headliner section only. To do so he will need to remove all the garnish trim around the window, and then pull the rear piece down.

Bill, 56 was the only Hawk with the cardboard sections.

I know/knew that but the Suppliment says to remove headliner. It does not show a picture in the green section of how to remove the headliner as it does in the regular part of the book.
