Long time Delaware Studebaker and Kaiser Frazer collector was tragically killed in an auto accident Tuesday July 15th. Ben was a passenger in a car driven by a friend on their way to the viewing of another area car enthusiast George Barczewski. Ben's collection included some interesting vehicles including a pristine 1966 Crusier, 1955 Speedster and others. Ben also had a couple of one of a kind Kaisers and Frazers that have been featured in Hemmings and other collector magazines. Ben will be sadly missed, as that he was 79 he was still active in local car clubs and planned to be in Lancaster this fall.

I saw Ben last fall at the annual Hagley Museum Show where he had a featured Kaiser-Fraser. IN fact it was one of the last ones made. An outstanding person with fantastic cars, suddenly taken away from those he loved and those who loved him. Ben was a long time Keystone Member and active for years as he was within the AACA and the Delaware car circles Ben we will miss you.

Ben was always a smiling face at the York Studebaker Meet. Ben we miss you! Our deepest sympathies to his family.
