On page 21 of the July 2008 issue of TW...It mentions that Mark Carson is running a fuel injected ohv 6 with a 700R4 behind it.[:p] In which he made the adapter...I think TW should make this a feature article! Does anyone know Mr. Carson? Will he be willing to make another adapter?? I thought this wasn't possible according to some posts that I had read??[:0]

Hey that sounds great. Did he use a four cylinder trans? Like the 2.8 V6 unit?

Will a 700r4 run behind a Champ 170? Just curious.

Why wouldn't it?
(And this is indeed a worthy question!)
An engine is an engine, and a 700R4 is a trans...
With the right adapter, it may be a match made in heaven![:p]

If they have an adapter to mate a Crosley engine to a Fiat 4 speed...I don't see why a talented machinist or Studebaker aficionado couldn't produce one to the market!!! I would definetly buy one if it was marketed under $700:D
