There is a 58 Silver Hawk on eBay almost identical to the one my Mother bought new and I learned to drive on. The price is way above my means.

The description says that there were only 367 were made. I am sure that is not true. Does anyone know the correct figure. It also says that it is a 259 4bbl. Ours was a 289 4bbl. I think all the non-export 58 Silver Hawk V8s were 289s. Below is a picture of the one we owned.

Hawk sales were down for 1958, but not that far down. There were 2442 six cylinder ("big" 6) C body coupes, 4852 V8 (259 & 289) C body coupes and 56 V8 (259) K body hardtops built for the 1958 model year. The car on eBay is one of 4852.
