  • J.T. & The President

I don't know who the car belongs to, but my three-year-old son, J.T., sure enjoyed seeing this '56 President Classic at the local car show this afternoon. He reports that it was "Pwitty!" (That's how the boy pronounces "pretty.")

I had to miss today's show because I was under the weather, but I plan to be at the Diamond Lakes show next month, even if they have to wheel me in!

I think "pwitty" is right up there with "pistine". [}]

        Hi
Your young son has great taste in cars, the '56 President is one of the prettiest of the '50's sedans.
Good to see the next generation of potential Studebaker owners shown these cars early.

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Thanks for the comments, guys! J.T. was tickled to see himself "on the 'puter" ... made his day!

Figured I'd 'splain a bit about what's going on, for those of you who are keeping score, so here goes: My spinal stenosis, after being fairly stable for the past year, has been getting worse again. I'll have another round of tests later this month after I see my neurologist, but I don't need tests to tell me I'm getting worse. It is to the point now that I can't even sit or lie down comfortably for any length of time. And, if you can't get comfortable, sleeping is difficult, along with many other things. But hey, I'm still gettin' around, just more slowly than I'd prefer.
