  • The ultimate hauler!!

WARNING: The thread this link is for is EXTREMELY long with TONS of pics...

This trailer project was designed and built, and is owned, by my friend Barry Wolk from MI... no, he's not into Studes, but I got to know him through our mutual love of Lincolns [8D] Barry's an amazing guy, as well as quite a visionary...

He was looking for a way to haul his show-quality 56 Linc Mark II conv.; he's not the kind of guy who's content with merely buying "close enough" when he wants something specific- constantly thinking, and super-sharp; plus a real quality person!!

I know we're all about the Studes here- but I can't imagine anyone would read this and not find the project amazing!! Just be forewarned: This thread is 43 pages long- and counting [:0] since March '04- with literally DOZENS of pics... so plan accordingly! Having been in this trailer personally, I can say that any of the pics posted simply do not do it justice...

Enjoy- or not- it's your choice!!

That's correct, Barry's easily capable of writing a check for whatever he wants- the approach I recommended to him But he got interested in having something unique- and boy, he accomplished that...

I know he's had many offers to buy the trailer... one guy offered him $100K cash-in-hand... he says if he figured $10/hr. for his time spent planning, trial-and-error, and building it he's probably got more than $100K into it... and that was before the accident repair...[B)]

The thing has such a visual impact when it arrives, I think it detracts from his absolutely stunning Lincoln [8D]

He's currently looking to build an equally unique tow vehicle right now; maybe an older aluminum Airstream motor home...

Can't wait to see what he comes up with...
