    The one that was in Dad's '60 Champ had a square base and a round shaft for the upright post covering the screw, also had a jack pad designed to hold the axle that was more square and concave. However it was a 1960, and if that very similar one was in a '53, I could believe it is original, certainly close enough! [^]
