What ever happened to the "NO COMMENTS" requirement over on the Members Studebaker Pictures column? [?]

Looks like Bob Shaw has some editing to do, because some of you did not read the "Read this first" post!

Replied-on posts have started to become the norm especially on the newest posts, instead of the non-commented on posts as it always was! [:0]

Registered Forum Members are invited to post a picture of Studebakers they currently own. In order to keep this "online car show" manageable, here are the rules for posting:

      1. DO NOT REPLY TO POSTS HERE. If you wish to discuss someone's vehicle displayed here use the "General Discussion" forum.

This is what Rich means. Does not seem to be a rule anymore.

I guess it is according to the person that made the rule.
          It is up to them............

It's bothered me but I didn't say anything because I thought maybe I'm the only one it bothered.

I suspected Bob had his reasons for requesting the "no response" limitation and I chose to respect it.

I suspect that it may create an issue (and competition) for those people who constantly "edit" their pictures to keep them at the top.

Only my opinion -- it does frustrate me to see a thread having a new post, go there and just find "edited" so that the pic is moved and renewed. I go there to see what we all love and are proud of, not to be reminded of a person's ego. If there is discussion desired about a car/pic, then it definitely belongs on one the three other forums.

I would like to see that rule enforced, so when a new thread comes up, it's a new pic of a car.

Matt it matters because it causes Bob to have to screen them and delete them per the rules! Another words against the rules, is against the rules!

Does it really matter if you Jay walk and live to tell about it?
Probably not, but you will get written up for it if caught!

                      This is probably predictable: I don't care.[^]

I understand the rules and try to obey them (I think I broke them once), but I think it is nice to post and receive the compliments. I will strive to obey the rules.

Technically since the word "Studebaker" was in the sentence starting this thread (that is really just about comments and photo posting) I guess it doesn't belong in the Stove Hugger's Forum according to the rules. I can't remember if I've ever commented on a picture by accident, but I deleted one of my pictures and it went to the top like any other recent post, so a new post doesn't always mean a new picture to look at. Didn't send it there on purpose, Bob! By the way, did anyone see that recent chopped Stude rod on that forum?

Yes. I saw the chopped pick up. Very radical. I liked it over all. The tail gate is just tall enough for the word Studebaker.
