Not much of a Scotsman anymore. BTW, I didn't feel like stickin' the door trim on just for a picture. [)] (But I DO have it! )

And maybe fill those two cavities with some gold to give him a little "bling".

          Lookin' good, Matthew! []

I like the wheels, caps and tires!!

Are you still going to 2 tone it?

          Great progress.

Matthew, N8 found a 2R truck radiator in my stash, but I really don't know how to ship it safely.

Hey Lenny, how 'bout I just paint the grille orange?

quote:Are you still going to 2 tone it?
Yep, it's still gettin' the White over Orange treatment.

What do you think about trim rings? Too much, perhaps? I can get new ones cheap, being as I'm a parts guy now.

I even bought a roll of carpet for it today, I'm really going all out! Should be easy to make fit using the rubber mat as a pattern. [^]

The best part so far? The NOS-made-in-1951 Orange lucite and chrome shifter knob I scored off eBay. I'll have to get a pic of that. [8D]

Just kidding Matthew. It is really coming along. The white grille will really set it off! That is unless you two tone it!

The white grill does set off the orange truck very nicely, but having a factory style 2 tone with the white over the orange would be spectacular! [^]
The two tone styling on the 57 - 59 C-Cabs was quite striking for most of the available combinations. Too bad Stude never thought to make a two-tone Champ.

Thanks for keeping us updated on the Pumpkin, Matthew. [8D]

Joe, if I end up stickin' a V8 in it someday, I've got a blower. [8D]

Why does it say "CENTER" over that door?

It says "SERVICE" over the other big roll up door. (Behind the truck)
