What is that spot on the headliner? If that was on the back seat, I would be worried!:D

Seriously, it's a neat car. I am presently working on a 52 Commander as you can see from my signature. It has a 63 Jet thrust in it, but I still have a ways to go.

That's two 52's this month, isn't it JDP? My own personal favorite of course. Neatly sandwiched between the popular bulletnose and C/K classics, they are a little gem all of their own.
Flip this one and keep that hardtop.

I take it the previous owner liked dark colors. You know what they say about a person's favorite color reflecting their personality. However, had he been on Prozac, it'd probably be all happy orange.

I feel real good about this one after talking to the old fart owner. The car is far from a show car, but you could not come close to building one like it for his asking price. As usual, he had a half dozen lookie-loo's that wanted to have the car inspected ot tried to low ball him, but I was the first to jump.
He spent a lot of money on the interior and a rebuilt 350 and 350 trans, and I can deal with the rest.

Looks pretty straight and solid. Of course, you paint most of the brightwork that would otherwise cost a mint to replate nowdays. The resultant "monotone" appearance isn't very inspiring IMHO.[:I]

Re: painted chrome.

I like it... only thing I might change is maybe leaving the "teeth" in the grill chrome. Just the bumper is too much monotone, but the full grill seems too much. Not sure about the back. Maybe use '50 taillamps with the simple chrome rings instead. To each his own tho!
