Statesboro, GA Open Show

Pat Skelly and I went to an open show in Statesboro, GA Saturday. Probably 250 cars and trucks on display.
Only four Stude's in attendance (1932 Dictator (iirc), 1964 Commander (black suede primer with lime green wheels[:0]), Pat's GT Hawk, and my yellow truck.

Nice day, charity event for some real sick kids.
Neat to see the guy that won the 50-50 give it all to the kids,
as did all the cash prizes won by the participating clubs....

He does Mark, he just doesn't take pics.

I know the guy with the '64 Commander. The original engine from that car is sitting at my granddad's shop. If he hasn't sold it, he also has a flamed '53 coupe.

I know how you meant it Mark. I just used your post to have fun with him too. I'm always amazed at Jeff's truck's...umm...seating capacity at these car shows. See "Sweden Meet" for further praises.

They took an old Time Magazine ad I had and scannned it, cleaned it up, and printed it on a plastic backer.
They sold me the frame stand as part of the deal.
I shortened the stand to make it less susceptible to blowing over.
It wasn't cheap, but after 4+ years it still looks like day one.
Makes for a good read at shows.
