We had our monthly Meeting of The San Joaquin Valley Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club. Look at all these Studebakers that showed up.

There were 7 Studebakers total and only 3 were mine hey I was outnumbered. Fantastic turnout 28 people at the meeting all had a great time. The star of the meeting was a 1955 Speedster that is coming back from ground up every bolt and nut restoration by Above and Beyond Autobody and paint shop. WOW was it impressive. There is one picture that they can't figure out what went in these holes. Any ideas?

Whatever once resided in those holes - it wasn't stock! Probably something like a CB whip antenna mount.[}:)]

BTW Anne, I imagine this is the car that Craig's been doing. Right? I like the black and white color scheme on these.:)

Yes you are correct this is the car that Craig and Jason have been working on. First time it got to come out to a meeting. It was great.

I don't believe that those holes were put there by Studebaker. Why weren't they filled before painting?
Many places, in the '50s-'60s, required a light or reflector on the left rear of a car parked on the street overnight. That is my guess for the added holes.
