We had our committee meeting tonight and our VP is looking for any parts and accessories books pre dating 1929.

Daryl has compiled several folders of information on the cars and needs this early stuff to complete his work.

Any of the Co-Operator guys? Richard Quinn perhaps?

If anyone can help let me know and I'll tell Daryl next Wed at our meeting.

The earliest parts books I have are 1931 and 1932 Dictator Eights.

Thanks Leonard, I suspect Dick Quinn has some, will have to see if he responds to the post.

John;

An ambitious project to be sure! I have at least 50 different parts books and Service manuals pre 1929. What exactly is it you (or Daryl) wish to accomplish?

Replied to Richard off line. What Daryl has done is to compile lists of each vehicle with its colors and accessories as an easy reference for our club. He just said that pre 1929 was material that he did not have.

Hopefully he can purchase some of Richard's duplicates.

John,
The information is on your door step.
Your best bet is to pay for a copy of the service record and parts books that are in the Melbourne Studebaker club library. From memory they start in late teens and cover to the year you want. They bought the complete factory leather bound set many years ago at a good price, $500 or so in the late 1980's, rings a bell. It would be a big, costly and time consuming job.

Say hi to Daryl and Maxine for me. I think they made 25 year SCCA membership recently.

Good luck
Hope you are enjoying the Lark.
