Door panel work. No sewing involved, just jigsaw, hammar, wood chisel, hole saw, sissors and 3M #08090 spray adhesive. Don't try to use the cheaper glue, it wont hold.

Glue 1/4" foam (late model GM headliner material) to the ABS plastic, glue the red vinyl to the foam, glue the white vinyl to the red vinyl.
All the stainless moldings are original to Leo with the exception of the long one on the bottom, it came off a GT panel. The brushed Stainless insert is .045 sheet.

Very nice indeed! Do the stainless molding strips have pins that go through the panel?

Yes. Some were broken off. But a 1 1/2" piece of .030 welding wire bent into a ell shape works just as well.

They look great, Jerry. I used a drill bit to cut the holes for the door panel clips, drilling two holes in-line, then shaving off the ^ in the centre. I tried using spade bits for the door handle holes, but the hole saw would be far easier to deal with. Will have to add one to my arsenal of tools.

Having used the standard door panel cardboard, and luan plywood for door panels, I've come the the conclusion that using plastic for door panels is the ONLY way to go. I just replaced the panels on Peter's truck and they look great.
