  • 53 Champion in Redding Ca.

There's a '53 Champion for sale in Redding Ca. for $2500. The car is in nearly drivable (so the owner says) condition. It needs some minor work needed to get it going again. The original flat-head died and they replaced it with an OHV 170 out of a Lark. The original six is reputed to be at a local mechanic's place growing weeds. There's a bit of rust in the driver's side floor though everything else, passenger, back and trunk, are all right. The linkage for the transplant has been rigged however, I think the exhaust may need doing, but mostly ready to go.

    53 Champion what???[?]

Miscreant Studebaker nut in California's central valley.

    1957 Transtar 1/2ton
    1960 Larkvertible V8
    1958 Provincial wagon
    1953 Commander coupe
    1957 President two door

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.
