I am rebuilding a OHV 6 cyl. I found a head that tested out with no cracks, so I had hardened seats put on the intake and exhaust. Then I had it cleaned up and new guides put in. I'm hoping it will work out. Anyway, I've gotten new valves and valve springs to put in. The springs have tighter, closer coils at one end. Does the tighter coil end of the spring go up, or down? Also, does anyone recommend any particular valve seal? thanks - Leon
