To complete the factory turn signals on my '48 Champion, I need these two parts.

This one is for a 1950, I believe. The difference being the plastic knob. I'll take either one. The wand is the important part. If I can't find one, can someone trace theirs on a piece of paper, and then I could bend one out of stainless steel rod and thread it. Part # for 1947-49 is #520305P. For 1950 it is #526903.

I also need this metal wiring cover that attaches to the steering column. Notice the dog-leg towards the bottom. Part #519848P.

Anybody have these parts out there--new or used. Would someone keep an eye out for them at the South Bend and the Redwood, Ca. swap meets this weekend? If you find them, call me!!

Thanks, Anne. But I've assembled all the other stuff, so trying to go with factory stuff. That is a good set-up you have there. Had one on my first truck (55 Dodge).

if that knob is the same grey as a 55 check with Jon Myer. he's the only guy I've seen that has the correct NOS '55 turn signal knobs.

It's not the KNOB I really need---it's the arm itself. The curved metal rod. I believe the picture is for a '50. I do not have a picture of a correct 47-49 knob. It is different.

I made my own wiring loom tube, exactly like the original, out of EMT (thinwall conduit) with a little bending, welding, and grinding before primer & paint, it's perfect. Not a difficult project.
