Is there a source for front fender to body gasket for a 56 Commander or Champion? I have called SASCO and SI and they don't have any. I tried to make some but my rubber is to soft it just squishes out. Can't pull the fender up solid.

As soon as you find a product you like they will stop making it.

I got some stuff from Steele Rubber, 1 1/2 wide, 1/16 thick rubber. They sell it for beading around windows.

I used ice dam roofing material to make the gaskets for my 54. Works well and will stick to the body when you remove the paper on the sticky side. Also no chance of moisture adsorption
