Is this a Studebaker?

Without the grille, I can't tell. From this era, bodies are similar. If it is a Studebaker, is this the one from eBay that was discussed here a few months back? It showed up in Guadalupe, California a few months back. It's been under a tarp, but I took advantage of a windy day and snapped this pic.
This photo seems to compress the length of the body. In this pic it looks F*ord-sized, but it is much longer.

No, a '35 Chevy had suicide doors on the front. It does have a bit of a Plymouth look to it, but it could be a Dodge.

Is the one in the photo a street rod? I see no top insert as in Kurtruks photo or did they have two body styles?

The grill surround and roof insert indicate that it's a '36. The '37 had a full steel roof and the hood went all the way forward to meet the top of the bright metal grill. A '37 was my first car.
