Perhaps so, however Jack, Biggsie didn't answer the question.

The lady has a carburetor on e-bay that I'm interested in, however it's got a really high price. So... if she's reliable then no problem. However, if she isn't... buying an expensive pig in a poke isn't something I can afford.

as for the rest of the peanut gallery... go clean your jets, or something! I need an answer from someone who's driving with a full float-bowl (LOL)!

I bought a WCFB core from her ('56 Truck V8 carb) that was decent enough and it was only $60, so my experience was OK. I have no idea if her "ready to go" carbs are any good at all.

I contacted her about some rochestor carbs for an older pontiac tripower intake, and didnt get a return email, I ended up buying them from a seller named robbob, I think, and they were new in the GM boxes at $85 a piece.....couldnt go wrong there!

hmmm, my girlfriend has 2 GT Hawks....and I feel left out, wheres my "R" model Daytona????
