WE entered Gus and Lightening McQueen Aka Red in the Kingsburg Car Show on Saturday. I shot a few videos of the Public's reaction to them. It was so much fun watching young and old smiling when they saw them. We didn't win any award or acknowledgement. But we sure brought alot of smiles and happy thoughts to a bunch of people. We talked alot of Stude on Saturday.

Those 2 folks giving Gus their attention obviously have good taste. ;) :)

This was before the public was let in at 7am. Was the only time you could see the Studes without a crowd in front of them. Fellow show people were teasing me about not having to dust him off. I tried to borrow their car dusters but they wouldn't share.

Another good job, Anne! I just love those "Cars" eyeballs- those would work on most any car[8D] I've always wondered, where did you get or how did you make them?

Anne--

That is terrific! I've got to get, or make, one of those eyeball sunshades for my Lark. My nephew Keegan is big into "Cars" and would love it! Finally got Betty the Lark out of store Saturday morning and was driving her all over creation right through this gorgeous weekend past...but will post separately about that so as not to hijack a thread...:D

Cheers

Well Red and Gus Made the Local Papers. Nice write up and pictures. They didn't mention that they were Studebakers but we all know what they are.

Isn't that just so neat Gus rubbing elbows with all those neat looking Cars. Don't he just make you so Proud? And How about Red on the front page no less. Couldn't of asked for anything better. I got copies of the paper gonna send it to the President and Turning Wheels.

Ya know they would have but they was too tired after a loooong ole day at the car show. Heck Gus didn't even notice the loud ol party across the street he was real Tired. Shoot even the six squad cars that broke it up didn't even wake him up. Slept right through it.
