    Received this from klifton1...

    "Dick
I don't know if these are of interest, because it's a modified and
still in progress. As you can see it's mostly a restoration with
running gear changes. Modified 95LT1 & A/OD. Except for padded dash &
shift ind.,(7 pos.) instead of 5, interior is stock also. There is
also a small ride height change. 2in's in the front and 1-1/2 in's in
    the rear.
The last photo is of a set, less one, of sportster hub caps. They
    were a 55 option and I'm looking for 1 more. ???
    Klif"

    Nicely done []

If you can help Klif with the hubcap, his email is

That is a beautiful car. Can't wait to see it finished! I know the lemon/lime isn't everyone's choice, but I think it's stunning, personally. Especially when it's so well applied!

Also, I think Klif hit the "stance" spot on. These cars were "made" to sit just a little lower and to go "down hill" just a little bit. [8D]

Very nice looking car! the only thing I would change is the exhaust manifolds. A set of powder coated blockhugger headers or powdercoat the stock manifolds or at the very least paint the stock exhaust manifolds with Hi-Temp aluminum paint.

Did you know a set of finned aluminum Studebaker valve covers will bolt right on to that engine?[}]

Sliding roof wagons, valve covers....next thing you know GM cars will be rusting out in the front fenders and leaking oil out of the rear main too .

I seem to recall a certain '37 Coupe Express with something like that under the hood.
