I am finally to the point of refurbishing the stainless trim on the Hawk. I would like to do it myself, but have a question. Am I correct in assuming that the stainless trim is 100% stainless and not sometype of "coated" trim? In other words, can I polish the stainless too much to where it will wear through to the next layer? Like chrome would?!

Any suggestions for polishing the stainless would be appreciated.

Thanks for the info!!

Thanks, John. I really feel stupid. Guess I haven't been paying attention and haven't accessed the forum in a while!
