My wife says "Hey, Kurt. Did you see what came in today's mail?"

I said "Yes," as she slipped this under the...uh..."Reading room" door:

    "Did you flip it over?"
I hadn't, since we don't use car washes. My wife does a fine job washing our brand Xs right in our driveway.[:0] So I flipped it over:

WOW. This is a local company. I now recall seeing them use this car in a previous ad campaign. I don't know if it is a local car or if it is just an image their ad agency has and uses.

There are no 1:18th scale models of 1961 Hawks. Except the one made from a 1957 Golden Hawk by Ken Byrd.
His is painted black like his real car.
        Cool ad.

Someone in the Fresno area with a red '61 Hawk needs to go over there and get their free wash.

StudeBob, you've got one of those Red Carpets at the corner of Mooney & Walnut in Visalia. Now all you need is a red '61 Hawk!

If you go to their website, they have another coupon that looks like it may have a Lark convertible on it.

Pretty sure it is a real car, not a scale model.

White gauges and an old Audi headrest, not "correct" for my year convertible on this one...!

If he needs another red one for a summer flyer, Anne, let me know. I'm game. We can keep him with red Studes shots forever over there! My carpet's black, but I'm sure we can find a hundred examples of that for another "red carpet shampoo" flyer..

It is a real car from a photo of one at a car Show Talked to Art from Armadillo Advertizing. He needed a Red car so he made this one Red for Red Carpet Car Wash. He was kind enough to send me a copy of the flyer that was sent in the mail. I sent him a link to this thread. Told him that we appreciated seeing a Studebaker so Prominently displayed. Its all good.
