Seems that nearly every Speedster you see has these. Were they standard or optional equipment?

They were standard equipment. Heck, I think Speedsters came from the factory with EVERY option.

Any suggested source for the internal parts for these things (housings, retainer rings, etc)? I guess the internals are same as '53-'54.Gil Zimmerman
