View Full Version : SDC Chapter Web Sites List, Wow!

Hi Folks,

SDC Chapters have been steadily adding web sites to their member resources and Studebaker promotion efforts. Over half of SDC Chapters have web sites as of 2008. A great variety of sites are flourishing, from very simple to elaborate. SDC members are spreading the Studebaker message over the web!

At the Editors & Publishers Forum I have posted this list so editors can publish information in their newsletters on their neighboring chapter's web sites.

This is an appeal for your assistance. If your chapter web site is not listed let me know and I will get yours added to the SDC database. If any addresses or URL's are not correct let me know too. This is a long list so use your 'search-find' function to locate chapters on the internet.

Thanks for your support!

Now if they were just kept current, I went to a few and some haven't been updated since 2005 and some were nothing more than a cover page with dead links.

That's not the half of it, a great many links in the contact info for our local and national chapters no longer work. I've treid to contact many of them, only to have the email bounce back.
Every email address on this website needs to be updated (and Bob isn't responsible for it, the officers should be!)

It takes a bit of time to maintain a website...

That depends, to update meet schedules, officer lists, etc. can be done in seconds.

I know our Chapter does not have a web site, as mentioned earlier there is a time commitment to keep it up to date and the webmaster has to have SOME technical savvy... (Right Bob?!). I have never inquired but does the SDC offer to host Chapter websites on "SDC" space?

Try the Hamilton Chapter when you get a chance..

Our web master, Sue Lusted, works exceptionally hard to keep a fairly large number of items up to date and is always adding information..

Note we have our Crossroads Zone meet coming up this July...would love to see you all there!!..

Check out the members cars also.. a good variety and we are proud of them all!

Thanks for looking... www.thehamiltonchaptersdc.ca
