  • Studebakers in the snow

Didn't know if it was worth posting, but my daughter took some pictures of some of our cars in the snow we got today. Not quite like the snow level with the 52s hood I saw wnen we were in South Dakota.

Just, got back to the forum. I work at a trucking company and everythings on the road right now.
The truck you were refering to is my brothers 56 that he bought several years ago. It has a terific body and a Champion six that I got running again a couple of months ago by rebuilding the carb. He had had been driving it and started the body work and had rebuilt the brakes when he changed jobs and didn't have as much time to work on it. Most of his time has been spent on his 57 or 63 and the 56 has waited. He really would like to build an extended cab out of the 56, but that isn't likely. I am thinking of buying it off of him and driving it to work since I only live 3 miles from work. Of course, I have too many projects.

Since I have moved back to Searcy I have been working on plans to rearrange some of our junk and get more of them under cover. For the first 15 years or so I owned my 52 it never sat outside except at meets, but that has not been true for years. We've got too many lawn mowers, tillers, old farm stuff and the like that belonged to my dad and other relatives clogging up the storage. The 53 sedan in the pictures is for parts and already rusted out from Kentucky salt.
