Anyone on line that has details about the Tulsa meet? Joe was planning to go and take some of his parts to sell, but he didn't find any details in Turning Wheels. What's the scoop?[?][?]

I email the Zone Coordinator, for that infro. Far as I, it could be held in Arkansas (Hot Spring would be OK)

Ok, I think he already has reservations at the motel. What Joe was looking for was confirmation of the arrangement for the swap meet. He didn't want to pull all the way over there and find out that he couldn't set up or the like.
I didn't understand the part about having it in Arkansas. Explain please.

We have all our spring zone meets in Tulsa. and every other year the fall meet in Denton or OK city. I was thinking out loud, and maybe rotating the spring meet? seams we have picked up some active members in Ark.

The Studebakers of Arkansas chapter is growing right now and we seem to have some members who want to do something more than just meet and eat. I have proposed maybe having a meet of some sort with the Ozark Trails chapter, but I had never thought of hosting a zone meet down here.
I have not been to the Tulsa meet, but my family went to Denton several times when we lived in Texarkana and we always had a good time. Something to think about....

When I was tour master for the Ozark Trails I had talked to the CofC in Mtn. Home, Ark about having a weekend get away down there. They said they would love to have us. Just a thought.

I just talked to Joe and the info about the swap meet was the main thing. I guess we're good. Who knows, I may take a vacation day and come with him!:D
BTW Mountain Home sounds interesting. I've never been there, but I hear it's nice. Lots of discussion will have to take place before we would try this, but maybe...;) It could happen.:D

Well I did. But I have been driving the 51 for 26 years and the 49 truck for 15 years so the 48 is the newest one. I finished it last Febuary.

I'm getting ready, figured out what car to drive. Going to be the '56 Commander, if all works out OK. Test drove it home tonight, and every thing is working. How can I get it to burn water? <G> Going to drive it some more as soon as I get plates for it. ;)It's got a little rattle in the exhaust pipe. nothing ear plugs can't fix. And It needs a radio. Never know what the weather is going to be in the OK state.
