What is the best steering box for the 53 coupe V-8?
Is ross or saginaw the best? And what years will "bolt In"
without "any" modifications. No power stg. No rack and pinion. No brand X.

The Saginaw box from the Champion coupes seems to work best. It will directly replace the Ross box, and has much less internal friction.

According to the shop manual for 1953 "Both of these steering gears are interchangable. However, if the steering gear assemblies are interchanged, the Pitman arm must also be changed" Just something to keep in mind.
