Where would I find production numbers for the Champ pickup? One e-bayer stated that fewer than 2000 were built in 63. [?]

When I was in search of Lark production #s, I was helped tremendously by a member on the forum who advised me to buy the book "Independents, the struggle to survive" ...I think that is the title. It is available at Amazon.com, or maybe even ebay. (i got mine for half price used on ebay if they still have some there.) It lists all of the independent makes and tells a basic story of each, along with production numbers for each make and model, unless the company did not keep specific records.

Thanks y'all for the info! 1964 8E5 Champ production was 1008 units.
788 were for domestic distribution, 288 were for export.

Am I simply being hopeful, or is there a chance that Studebaker Champs have a higher survival rate than trucks from the big three from 1960 to 1964?

My view of the whole thing is a little distorted since I have been around a lot of Studebakers over the past twenty years...
