  • Need radiator support saddle for early(?) 48 Champ

Any one have one of these laying around? Believe used on 1947 and first half of 1948 Champions.

I need the U-shaped saddle that the radiator bolts to and sits in.

    NOT THIS STYLE:

I need the one shown in the "Dusty" photo. I believe this was the change in mid-1948.

Outside width (on both styles) is 21 3/4".

    Thanks,

    KURTRUK

Hmm. Maybe '49 is the same as '48, and the one I show with "wings" is later?
    Anyone confirm this[?]
The major difference being where the hood prop rod stores when not in use. I need the style where the prop rod is stored back on a clip on the passenger fender, not across the front of the radiator.

Kurt - have you tried Tom Karkewicz?

        1957 Transtar 1/2ton
        1960 Larkvertible V8
        1958 Provincial wagon
        1953 Commander coupe

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.
