I love my old work shirts. Bought 'em for 50 cents apiece about 15 years ago. Most of them are just about worn out, but they're the most comfy in the hot weather! Way more comfy than a T-shirt! darned T-shirts are hot! I'll only wear one to a meet or something. I really prefer the Hawiian shirts now that I've worn out most of my old work veterans!

Had a nice visit when I went up to Fresno. I took Anne's friend, Casey, a good planetary gear assy so he could have OD in the '60 Lark wagon he recently bought. He gave me a nifty 10 ton jack in trade! Now I can jack up the whole danged shop if I want to!

Annie and Kent came to my place the next day and picked up the core 259 that was the original motor for the Prez. I don't know what they're gonna do with it, but it did run (sorta) when I pulled it, so I'm sure they'll find a Stude to put it in![^]

I gave ol' Kent the nickle tour and then let him wander around by himself for awhile. I didn't see his pockets bulgin' too much, so I figger I didn't lose much. He did make off with several 6cylinder starters in hopes of making one of them work in a 55 Champion he's adopted.

Any "Stude Day" is a good day!

Hi Anne - great pics, thanks for sharing... if you get a chance, could you post a picture of Gus's passenger door? I'd like to see how the "Deluxe" chrome piece lines up on that side of the truck. Thanks!

Mark - why would it line up any differently than the driver's side???

My '57 is a C4 cab, but does not appear to have ever had the "Deluxe" chrome pieces mounted (on the current doors) . Since I recently bought a set, I was looking for a picture to see exactly where they go. Anne had posted a picture of Gus's driver side, so that's taken care of, just wanted to see the passenger side to confirm that it lines up at the "front" of the door and not under the "T" in Transtar.
