  • Fiberglass parts removal and separation on an 1963 Avanti

I have a parts avanti and need to remove an inner fender headlamp buckets nose pieces on each side fender and filler panel. I am wondering if anyone has any tips on parts removal to separate the pieces.

A good heat gun, and a sharp chisel.

I will need to purchase a heat gun. What temperature range should it get to? Is it a harbor freight item?

115 volts only gives 1500-1800 watts...

That all depends on the amperage going into it. You are assuming a normal household 15 amp service. That normal service is why normal heat guns are rated at 1500-1800 watts.
