 The damage doesn't look horrible from the first accident scene photo, but read the description of all that was damaged in the paragraph below the first accident photo; YIKES!

Inexcusable...and it appears the Model A was just parked there, minding its own business! :QQ:

(From the January 7, 2019 Ford Authority dispatch, an unofficial blog I receive, along with a similar blog, GM Authority.) BP

I wouldn't leave anything parked out on the street these days, if I can help it. This car also suffered the same fate by someone who fell asleep at the wheel while innocently parked on the street.: http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.com/showthread.php?100465-58-Commander-Starlight-caught-between-rock-and-hard-place&highlight=starlight

If he did have agreed value collector car insurance, it may not cover this accident. He used the car to go to work and left the car on the street.

I do not see how this accident could possibly do things like break the engine block.

That's kind of what I was thinking, but maybe the left frame rail was pushed far enough forward to break the block where the motor mount is attached. In any case, it is surely going to be a job making it right again.

Or, the could part it out and buy one that's already been restored.

I think this is probably the cost effective method as these are now relatively inexpensive cars. I found the same issue insuring my Avanti's. I couldn't get coverage to cover a complete restoration at any price that was reasonable but had no problem getting them insured for replacement cost at market value.

Yeah,

It took me less than thirty seconds to find these two on government planet and they are ubiquitous on Hemmings and other sites and you can find virtually every single components reproduced.
