  • 51 Commander Windlace installation

I need to attach the windlace in 51 Commander. In other cars I have done this in I had to remove the dash. Do I need to remove the dash to get that section in the car? What is the best way to remove the dash enough to get the lace in?

I just tucked it behind the edge of the dash with a putty knife then reached behind and clamped it in place. I didn't remove the dash for this.

That's the way to do it.
