  • Electrical: Back Up Lights for early 50's car Fix or replace socket with photos!

I hope this helps someone I have been looking for back up lights for my cars and I found one in nice shape with out the socket part in it. So I had to make something work and I was able to make this work really well.

I did forget one photo of the socket by it self. It has spring type prongs kind of like the original one to mount in the back of the light housing.

So I PTF-ed the new socket in place then I drilled in the 2 indents on the new socket and used pop rivets to secure the socket firmly in place. And i believe it will be as good as the original socket.

    What do you think?

    Crap I hope this works
