After discovering some pretty rough structural damage from rust, I decided to put my Lark up for a while. I'm still going to repair it and put my big engine in it (320 ci), but I'm ready to drive a Studebaker again.
I recently aquired a 64 Wagonaire which is in a million pieces, but is very straight and solid, with the exception of the front floorpans.
Plans are to use my warmed up 289 and a 5 speed transmission. Upgrades to A/C and disc brakes are mandatory. I will also be installing a fuel injection system from FI Tech to use as a test mule for the big engine.
We will be taking inventory of what is in the car this weekend and hopefully, everyrhing we need is there.
Deadline for this project is next June, hopefully having it ready for the Hot Rod Power Tour.
