What have you got? I will give you a special rate, my good friend.

Nothing at this moment. But someone else here may like to know the amount you are charging, be it for an entire vehicle, furniture, or pieces thereof. Now is also the time to haul home an NOS windshield for your Zip Van as its an item SI won't ship.

I sold the zip van a couple years ago. The new owner is using it as a portable drawing studio. Anyway, back then we determined that since all the glass was dead flat it was cheaper to just have a new piece of glass cut locally.

As for my shipping rates, I am charging the same as I always did back when I called it the Studebaker Express. My base rate is $0.00 per loaded mile, with an extra charge of zero dollars for loading and unloading. Donations accepted. One time I got a box of chicken wings, plus 2 different times I got a hug. This seems to have been a good fee structure. I have towed cars for a few different people from the club over the years, farthest being to Cedar Rapids Iowa. But I was heading there anyway.

Anyone is welcome to use the above rates and calculate their estimated fee. And if it is within your CASO budget, message me and we’ll work it out.

Thank you for your generous offer. I have often paid someone that I know what the transport companies would charge because I knew that the friend would take better care of my vehicle and would be reliable and dependable. I don't have anything to transport now. With my luck lately, I probably will have something two days after you leave. I have been considering an Avanti coupe in the South Bend area, but it looks like I won't be "pulling the trigger" on that one.

I was in Indianapolis Wednesday. It might have helped if I had brought it to South Bend. Maybe there is an SDC member who could bring it to SB and then it might have a better chance for a hook-up to go to CA.
