  • Other: Double line wrenches needed???

For those out there that do their own wrenching on their Studes, and have a/c.

Will I have to utilize two line wrenches to remove the discharge hose from the top of the Avantis condenser?

The last thing in the world I would want to do is attempt to remove that hose from the top attachment point on the condenser with one single wrench and bend the top of the condenser:-(

    Thanks for your thoughts.

Seems to me on any situation where there is concern about bending, just use a backup wrench.

Not sure you can get a line wrench onto the back fitting. I use a good fitting open end wrench on the condenser and a line wrench on the hose fitting.
