Correct me if I'm wrong! To test a Hawk temp. gauge, connect the lower (12v) post to a battery and the upper post to ground, should read full scale? Also, if I use a 9v battery the same way will I get any reading? (I don't wanna drag a 12v battery around a swap meet!). -Jim
