Well None of them have the sideways Studebaker "S" Symbol so who cares? http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.com/images/smilies/001_rolleyes.gif

But after I picked one & clicked it, Nothing happened.

If you know which is correct, I THINK #5, but I cannot see ANY difference between 4 & 5!

Obviously it HAS to be Red, White, Blue, NOT Blue, White, Red.
What American Co. would not do that?

I choose the White stripe going from UP to Down, but if it is supposed to be the other way I am wrong.

#1 and #8 are also the Same so it is 4 & 5 or 1 & 8.

 Well, Dave; you've got four pairs there, so I guess the question would be, "which pair is correct?"

(1 & 8 are the same, as are 2&7, 3&6, and 4&5.) BP

;) Look at the color swoops above and below the individual pairs, Brad. The heavy side of each swoop varies from one image to another, making them different even though they appear similar. BP

Look again guys, they are all different! I believe #4 is correct.

Yes, they are all different. I think #8, because it's red, white, blue, side to side, and top to bottom.

I don't care!

Now hold my Coke...

I was thinking the same thing, until I saw #4 is the same thing, but with a different wave.

So tell us how it is ANY different than #1?

Unless you are color blind, it should be obvious.

Read the colors as though you are reading a book written in english: Left to right, up to down; red/white/blue. Now look at the red and blue "waves". Which end, left or right, is thin? Which is thick?

Nope. 4&5 are NOT the same. And 1&8 are NOT the same.

They're ALL different. Only one of them is correct. Just different configurations of color positions and "swoop" directions.

 Ah-Ha! Now I get it; you have to include the colors and positions of the side bars as well as the swoop colors and positions. When the colors of the side bars are taken into account, they are all different. BP

David... thank you
Now this is my kind of FUN. Trival knowledge but still a brain teaser of fun.

I know it started because of Pepsi' lazy S logo of today.
SO there is even a Studebaker tie-in.

Now my Question to the group is about changing STP logos.
I believe "The Racer's Edge" found on the sticker was in the later 60s, after Studebaker production ended.
Those Racer's Edge STP versions can be found very easily on EBay.

What did the STP Logo look like when Studebaker acquired Chemical Compounds?
I would LOVE to find one & stick on my Stude.
Is there a known source to finding the first STP logo stickers???

Thanks

OH I get it, you are looking at the reversed BACKGROUND Blue & Red areas, not the actual Pepsi Logo, Dah!
I guess it is part of the Label or whatever that is that they show there. :o

 Ah-Ha! Now I get it; you have to include the colors and positions of the side bars as well as the swoop colors and positions. Yep! You were seeing the difference in the "swoops" and I was seeing the difference in the side colors. But I think, at our age, we can both be cut some slack. ;)

I'm waiting for someone to look up the answer.
Maybe I need to look on ebay for a Pepsi can for sale.

Each of the logos has a number on it, therefor none of the logos are correct! ;)
