I've been helping my buddy Bob restore his dad's '49 Stude 3/4 ton truck and it's time for windshield and back glass and vent frame gaskets. Has anyone here used Steele Rubber for gaskets?

I just checked Steele Rubber and they only have the windshield gaskets. Where can we get back glass gaskets and vent frame gaskets?

Studebaker International, and most of our other beloved, Studebaker parts vendors have them. I just had the local, "glass guy" install front & rear windshields in the GT Hawk. He remarked on how fresh and pliable the gaskets were, and how it made his job much easier. I got them from Studebaker International.

THANKS. I worked in auto glass many years ago and have done lots of installations, but getting the correct gaskets is the most important part of the job.

Bob's truck is a '49. Would that be a C cab? Or M cab?
