  • Brakes: ‘64 Hawk M/C Reservoir

My Dad passed away in August of last year, and I’m going to Wisconsin in a few weeks to visit my mom and get his Hawk roadworthy again so she can eventually sell it. For whatever reason, my dad removed the M/C reservoir that’s mounted on the firewall and as best my mom can guess, sold it. Does anyone have one they would be willing to sell?

You COULD replace that hard to find Reservoir that was only used on Disc Brake Hawks and as a rare Option, OR:

It could be replaced with a Regular Vented Master Cylinder Cap, it is not a necessity for a Safe Brake System.

If he sold the Reservoir, it is likely that he also sold the special CAP with a fitting and Hose/Line from the M/C to the reservoir, if the Cap was replaced with a Vented one you are good to go, just Check the Fluid Level.
