I was just wondering if anyone has bought out Stephen Allen's stock and added it to theirs for sale to us Stude lovers? It's a shame, since he had some really nice stuff to offer.

That option does not appear to be open.

Wow, that's a long string! More specifically, look a little more than half way down on Pg. 3 for Steven's answer!

StudeRich,
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I, as well as others, had no idea what difficulties Steven had.
I wish him well and hope he lands on his feet.

If he ddd sell to SI that's a new wrinkle because as of two weeks ago he was still coming to York and had his spaces and was going to bring a lot of stuff. I'll know tomorrow if things have changed and will post it here.

Wow, shipping all that out here to California won't be cheap. The building that houses Stude's West is already pretty full. It'll be interesting to see where they put it all!

Maybe an East coast warehouse facility??? Or shipping containers and the railroad would probably be the best way to go.

Just to clarify I bought all of the repro parts; wiper arms, moulding clips, headlamp rings, overdrive solonoids, etc. Studebaker West bought the rest of the inventory.

Stephen has informed us he will not be coming to York next month. He asked that his fifteen spaces be made available to others interested in vending.

Anyone interested in indoor vending spaces at York, contact Jim Dunlap mo823@warwick.net .

The Sequoia Chapter newsletter received today says that Studebakers West (Redwood City CA) bought all Allen's inventory, and will be trucking it to CA. So it all ended up in very good hands. It says the web site will be restored, so online ordering will be possible like before.
